7 RESOLUTIONS FOR A NEW SKIN

7 RESOLUTIONS FOR A NEW SKIN

A NEW WAY TO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF
The Uriage Thermal Center treats more than 4,800 patients per year, some of whom are suffering from chronic and inflammatory skin diseases. These skin pathologies can be influenced by various factors such as diet, physical activity, stress, etc.

This is why we have created the Re-Source Workshops in collaboration with the Uriage Thermal Center team. These Workshops have been designed by health professionals, multidisciplinary experts and patients, all trained in therapeutic education. Their objective is to help people discover new ways to take care of themselves, to recharge their batteries, and to play an active role in their own well-being.

Through this #IN CONTROL OF MY WELL BEING collection, we wish to make the expertise of our Re-Source specialists available to everyone, for a global approach to the treatment of these skin pathologies.

MY 7 RESOLUTIONS SPURRED BY THE RE-SOURCE EXPERTS

1. UNDERSTANDING MY ACNE

"Acne is not the end of the world, and it can be treated. It is interesting to understand the processes involved in order to adopt the right habits in response to the type of acne.’’
Dr. Toni Ionesco, dermatologist

2. EATING BETTER

"A balanced diet is essential to having healthy skin, but you should never restrict yourself to an extreme, it's all a question of quantity. It is also important to eat the right foods that will not aggravate inflammation."
Julie Berger, nutritionist

3. EXERCISING MORE

"Increase your daily physical activity simply by parking further away when at the supermarket or by getting off at an earlier subway stop. ’’
Elodie Chachereau, sports educator

4. TAKING BACK CONTROL OF MY SKIN

"Take the time for self-care: (re)learn how to cleanse, moisturize and apply makeup to your acne-prone skin.”
Amélie Arsac, socio-esthetician trainer

5. MANAGING STRESS BETTER

"There's no better way to ease stress than to understand where it comes from. Through simple exercises, art therapy allows you to become aware of the problem, this being the first step in resolving the problem”
Johanna Barralon, art-therapist

6. SLEEPING WELL

"Sophrology really helps to reduce falling asleep time and improves sleep quality, thus breaking the vicious cycle: lack of sleep = stress = acne = stress, etc. Restorative sleep also acts on cell renewal, skin regeneration, and healing."
Céline Pennetier, sophrologist analyst

7. REGAINING MY SELF-CONFIDENCE

”Your skin is a barrier, it has a protective function but it is also the mirror of our emotions. Mindful breathing is one of the keys to soothing the body and taking a step back from the perception of others.”
Céline Pennetier, sophrologist analyst
